We limit ourselves to storing the smallest amount of user data needed to create a seamless experience when using Blarb. This data includes nicknames, IP addresses, and messages. All messages posted to regular, non-moderated channels are stored temporarily on our servers for 24 hours and are also published via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) topics for push notifications. We may also collect aggregated usage statistics to improve our service.
For users seeking maximum privacy, Blarb offers Peer-to-Peer (P2P) channels. Messages and nicknames sent in P2P channels are never stored on our servers and are transmitted directly between participants, ensuring that sensitive conversations remain private.
The authors of Blarb do not intend to use or sell any of the above-mentioned data. In exceptional cases, if we are contacted by authorities, we may provide the data we have (including logs with access times and posted content) to assist in investigations.
Users are fully responsible for the content they post and may be held accountable for any illegal material, including links to third-party websites containing illegal content.
